ADMISSION CRITERIA

To be admitted to the various Occupational Center programs, an individual must meet the following general criteria:

• Have a documented physical cognitive or psychiatric disability.

• General medical examination within the past year with a TB screening.
  

• Be able to independently take care of personal needs.
  

• Be referred by a New Jersey State Agency, school system, hospital or/and insurance company.
  

• Not be a threat to their own safety or that of others.

• Individual programs may have additional criteria.  Perspective participants should check with program intake personnel.
